1. What we collect
Your email (for sign-in), name, class/subject selections, city and school (for community features and reports), avatar, and your study activity: which topics you read, flashcard reviews, MCQ attempts, and past-paper attempts. If you add a parent's email for progress reports, we collect that too, only with your explicit action.
2. How we use it
To run the app: show your content, compute your mastery scores, schedule spaced-repetition reviews, enforce the free-action limit, and process payments. To reach you: sign-in codes, and, if you opt in, reminder notifications and progress-summary emails. We never sell your data.
3. Third-party services
We use PostHog and Google Analytics for product analytics, Sentry for error monitoring, Vercel for hosting, Zoho ZeptoMail for transactional email, and Polar for payment processing. Each only receives what it needs to do its job (e.g. Polar sees your payment details, not your study activity).
4. Notifications and email
Push notifications and lifecycle emails (welcome, reminders, progress reports) are opt-in and free. You control per-type toggles, quiet hours, and reminder time in Settings. Every non-transactional email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
5. Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account from Settings at any time, which removes your personal data and study history. Accounts that never verify their email and never show any activity may be periodically purged.
